Featured Bathroom: Mt Hawthorn, ensuite.
What we did..
A large draw front folds open to connect to a laundry chute direct to the laundry below for easy disposal of dirty linen. A large draw between the 2 undermount basins has a power point mounted to the back of the draw. This ensures electrical appliances are ready to use at short notice or batteries are charged consistently. An added bonus is that it is all hidden away leaving the benchtop free of clutter. Smaller draws allow for storage of the numerous small items used in a bathroom i.e. makeup, toothpaste, brushes etc.
A mirror cabinet runs the length of the benchtop. The mirror is recessed into the back of the cabinet and is illuminated by a full length strip light.
On either side of the mirror is a shallow cabinet with adjustable shelves to allow for easy access to items of various sizes.
An interesting concept with this project is the horizontal grain to the cabinets which gives the impression of a longer cabinet than it actually is. The 30mm Pure White engineered stone top blends seamlessly into the gloss white wall tiles.
